The beach of Lalaria
The beach of Lalaria is undoubtedly the most emblematic and most popular place of the island of Skiathos, since it is the most beautiful beach of the country! Visitors go there by boat, the only way to get there, in order to admire closely its beach and small white pebbles, dominated by high steep cliffs, and swim in the translucent blue water. Bring shoes to avoid scratching your feet on the pebbles. In order to avoid the flood of tourists who disembark daily on the island, we prefer to go there early in the morning and preferably opting for a small boat!
The beach of Tsambika Rhodes
30km south of Rhodes city, Tsambika beach is certainly one of the most beautiful islands, easily accessible by car or bus, it combines golden sand and transparent water, which allows you to alternate between swimming and sunbathing. The beach is very well maintained with umbrellas, deckchairs, showers and toilets, the beach is part of a beautiful natural setting without any construction in the vicinity, except for a few snack bars where you can come and have a drink!
The beach of Simos
At the southern tip of the region of Laconia, lies the small island of Elafonissos easily accessible by ferry, and home to one of the most beautiful beaches of Greece: Simos beach. Composed in reality of two beaches separated by a fine or white sand bordering a crystalline water, it is good to bathe in a warm bath, and to benefit from its infrastructures: deckchairs, parasols Beach bar or restaurants!
The beach of Voidokilia (Greek mainland)
Located in the Peloponnese, 12 kilometers from the city of Pylos, the beach of Voidokilia concentrates all the assets of a paradise beach: fine sand of a brilliant white, bordering a water whose colors stretch from green turquoise to deep blue. Its almost perfect semicircle shape evokes the shell in which the Greek goddess Aphrodite was born...considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, it is no coincidence that this splendid bay is mentioned in Homer's Odyssey! But beware of sunburn!
Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Bay)
On the island of Zakynthos, the famous beach of Navagio is often quoted among the most beautiful beaches of Greece, but also of the Mediterranean! A small risk of able and pebbles, named by impressive rocky cliffs, and of course, a water of a so pure blue that one has the impression to bathe in a swimming pool, but what makes the particularity of the notoriety of this beach, it is its shipwreck stranded in the sand. A curiosity that earned it its nickname of Shipwreck Bay, for the little story, the wreck was once a ship named Panagiotis and would have failed here following a storm. Here you can admire the wreck from the cliffs. The view is breathtaking!
